All I am looking for are people who can represent the interests of the people in the House of Assembly and who can contribute to debates. I am tired with the cantankerous behaviour that has been exhibited over the years. That is not a good way to influence our young people.

All i pray is that the spirituality i feel emitting from David Thompson is genuine. His vibe is one of spirituality, humility and a genuine love for his fellow Barbadians.I have never voted due to the fact that i believe no matter who runs this Island i will continue to suffer financially, but this year my spirit has led me to trust the DLP that there is hope for a better life for my child.I will give them my vote and pray God helps them to acheive all in his name.

Dear DLP Candidates:
Three Engineers!!! I am elated to the point of jubilation.
I wish to thank all of you professionals for being brave enough to risk it all in elective politics in Barbados. It could not have been an easy choice for you or your families. Be assured that I will continue to pray that God will bless you all.
May you take the time to conscientiously learn about whatever ministry responsibilities are given to you.
May you recognise your need for wisdom in your new responsibilities and ask of God who gives to each as much as they ask for.
May you remain faithful to spouses, knowing that you need to return home at the end of each challenging day for a time of refreshing that only a supportive spouse can provide.
May you never be afraid of admitting your mistakes and striving to improve, for humans generally make some mistakes when doing something for the first time.
May God bless you all with good health, abundant wisdom and understanding, supportive families, and obedient hearts that can discern the voice of God.
My best regards to you all,
Grenville

Our Prime Minister
Oh how it pleased me to see
Undisputed appointment of the DLP
Represented by a worthy gentleman
Prime Minister designate David John Howard Thompson
Regretfully many may never know
Intricacies in character that don’t obviously show
Me, I’m glad to have gotten really near
Earlier in our lives we had lots to share
My admiration for him has never been surpassed
I think this appointment should have been many years passed
No one has been more competent and from so long ago
It’s long overdue but now the world can know
Such leadership and his capacity to commit
This man has great integrity and political grit
Essentially he is the ideal man to be our leader
Rejoice Barbados we’ve got a greatness in our Prime Minister

Congratulations Team DLP
Christmas was disrupted, people placed on edge
Owen needed to be dislodged, he was like and impaling wedge
Now thanks to God we can sleep peacefully
God has delivered us from his political tyranny
Right thinking Bajans started a new mandate
And voted to elect their DLP candidate
They demonstrated that with the 20 to 10 win
Usefulness had expired, the shelf life was gone for Owen
Laughter now adorns this Nation’s face
A fresh air envelops the entire place
The excellent campaigning by the DLP team
Ignited new hopes and happiness, we can now dream
Of a community with more love and caring
Negativity surpassed with positive thinking
Simple charity between neighbors and together we
Take on progress and a true democracy
Exercising the strengths of each individual voice
Assured that individual’s have their own choice
May God Bless your persistence and bring more success
Draw a clear map along the Pathways to Progress
Lots of hard work is ahead but you’ll emerge supreme
Praise God for this Government of a DLP Team

Music of Michael Jackson is going to live for ever no matter what, I think It’s became a classic of ‘pop’, He was so stressfullast time and has lots of problems, poor guy – that was probably end for him – so sad all we can do is keep his music in our hearts.

DLP: So because I stated that CSME will fail, just like the West Indies Federation failed, you have refused to publish my comment? No problem, I will let that be known on another forum.

DLP: YES, I KNOW MY COMMENT IS AWAITING MODERATION (FOR 4 DAYS).
Look, do you think it is possible for you all to find someone who can keep this blog alive, or is that too much to ask? Don’t you realise you have supporters who wish to make contributions on here, to congratulate you on the good job you’re doing, and also to voice concerns when necessary? We know you will have Henderson and Royal Rumble and those other rats coming on here, but surely you know how to deal with them? Ever since January 2008 this blog has been sadly neglected and no one seems to care. You shooting yourself in the foot, or what? Yes, I know this comment will either not see the light of day, or it will be “awaiting moderation” for God knows how long. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
