  • Wishing in Vain

I would like to extend my very best wishes to Mr David Thompson and his entire team for delivering us from the evil that was the blp party and its rogues.

We move forward now with the belief in ourselves and with the strength of the Lord may we progess.

TOWARDS A NEW BEGINNING STARTS NOW.

  • Mr David Thompson & the DLP Team

Heartiest congatulations on your most deserved victory at the polls.

We the people , your citizens have spoken with a resounding NO to Corruption,No to the wholesale sale of Barbados and the Prostitution of our people.

Permit me sir to humbly offer you some suggestions:

    1.Remember your pledge to the people to commit to Forensic Audits re those questionable overruns on those large public projects,and to the awarding of contracts;

2.Please restore the pride in our people that we as a bajan people should have living in our own country. In this regards please be fearless and relentless in your persuit of enriching our citizens lives and raising the standard of living for those of us who worked trielessly to ensure your victory at the poll, but more importantly the development of our country to where it is today.

3.The large number of illegal immigrants in this country is already putting pressure on our social services as well as makes it difficult to make projections and plans for the future.

Please with quick dispatch ask those illegal citizens in the country to make immediate preparations to leave or face deportations for their illegal stay and the prospect of being denied entry into this country again.

4.Put a moratorium on citizenship or residency granted as well as large scale work permits until you could do AN AUDIT at the immigration department.

That department needs cleaning up post haste from those corrupt immigration officers who have been facilitating these illegals especially indo guyanese women into this country.

Remember the missing Work Permit Stamp and other irregularities?

I don’t know if you are aware, but the immmigration officers have been complaining that they feel helpless and naked (security wise),as they try to enforce the laws and deport these illegals.

Check out the murder of the late chief immigration kenrick hutson and you will see a guyanese connection there.

You need to have guts Mr Thompson and make hard decisions and ignore the potential fallout (real or percieved) from your decision – other caricom leaders have done the same much to the approval of their citizens.

Remember those with vested interests like the Norman Farias and those in corporate Barbados who benefit from the presence of these people will be howling in protest the loudest.

But also remember that it was not those persons who went out in their numbers to put you and your party in office.

It suits the intersts of president Basdeo Jagdeo of Guyana to have his citizens (especially the kind we are now seeing who rather than adding to society are draining us) – to have them flood the countries of the region making a nuisance of themselves in large part e.g. St Martins,Antigua,Trinidad,Barbados etc.

President Jagdeo earns large amount of foreign currency as his nationals illegally export large amounts of $U.S. Dollars back to guyana.

5.Finally increase the number of immigration officers and those in the deportation department as soon as possible as we together ie – your administration and us the people work together to get this country back on track.

God Bless You Mr Thompson and the Democratic Labour Party.

Well, well, well what am I hearing today that all is not well within the Opposition camp it was reported to me today that they met on Friday evening at Roebuck Street to select a Leader of the Opposition and George Payne nominated Dale Marshall as Leader and he was supported by Hammy Lashley, Rawle Eastmond, Owing Arthur and Glyne Clarke, this brought the place into an uproar with both of mottley’s parents exploded into heated scenes with mottleys mother being loud and most abusive to Owing and those who supported the Payne / Marshall combination, reports reaching me state the mottley’s were not willing in any way to accept this position for their daughter and responded with loud abuse and vile words.

They were reported to have fought like cats and dogs (Roebuck Street seems to be fighting venue of choice here recently the second fight to have broken out there in as many weeks) to the point that the meeting was abandoned and a new meeting called for yesterday, during the period much discussion took place and mottley’s mother finally had her way and the mottley’s clan and will to control the purse strings of this island will be attached but will have to wait a number of years before they get to do so, we must remember the mottley’s believe that there have a right to rule this country much as the Adams family felt that they did the only difference is that Adams was 100 % man and there was no doubt abot this so unlike mottley who is prepared to try to force Homosexuality and Prostitution down our throats against our will.

Even in Opposition the BLP are fighting thank god they are not in office!!!!

What a sad day we have reached when in persuit of power and wealth they resort to this kind of display in the publics eye.

  • I’d like to offer congrats to David and all of the successful and non-successful candidates. May I just say(not to demean Mr Taan Abed), but to easily get that seat from “Do-good(depends on who blind)”, a more acceptable candidate to the majority of that constituency should have been considered, here’s hoping a review of those from this party who are willing to run for that constituency besides Mr Abed, makes themselves available.

  • Congratulation to Rt. Hon. David Thompson and his entire team, Let Luke, chapter 2 Vs 52 be your everyday praise. Towards A New Beginning Starts Now. Columbus, Ohio.
